Nomad Session is San Francisco’s premiere wind octet. This ensemble comprised of every member of the wind and brass family — flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba — is the first to use this instrumentation as a platform for a professional chamber ensemble. The fascinating sound created by this unique grouping has inspired an exciting array of new compositions and arrangements evinced in Nomad Session’s powerful performances.
