Complete text:

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.

I lift my eyes to the hills,

From where will come my salvation?

Incline your ear to me, O Lord.

Our trust is in you, my God.

Lord, God, hear us!

Lord have mercy.

Lord, God, hear our cries for mercy.

Lord, God, hear us!

Lord, God, hear our prayer.

Lord, God, are you there?

Lord, God, hear my prayer,

Lord, let me know that you are there.

Lord, God, can't you hear me,

Won't you guide me, won't you steer me?

My God, why have you forsaken me?

My God, why are you so far from me?

Lord, God, hear my wailing,

Hear my crying, and despairing.

My God, why have you forsaken me?

My God, why are you so far from me?

Where are you, Lord?

Where?

Lord, God, hear my wailing,

Hear my crying, and despairing.

Why are you so far from me, Lord,

Why so far away?

Where are you, Lord?

Where?

Why are you downcast, O, my soul?

Put your trust in God.

I wait for the Lord,

My soul waits,

And in his word I put my hope.

He reached down from on high

And took hold of me;

He drew me out of deep waters.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,

For the Lord will be good to you.

Lord, grant us thy peace.
